Ingredients

2 lbs chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite type)

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

6 large tortillas (whole wheat or flour)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup coleslaw mix

½ cup ranch dressing

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent (about 5 minutes). Then, add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Combine & Simmer: Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the skillet with the onions and garlic. Pour in the BBQ sauce, cover the skillet, and simmer on low heat for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and use two forks to shred the meat. Return the shredded chicken back to the skillet and mix well with the BBQ sauce and onions.

Prepare the Wraps: Lay out a tortilla and in the middle, place about ½ cup of the pulled chicken mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, add a handful of coleslaw mix, and drizzle ranch dressing on top.

Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it from the bottom up to form a wrap. Place seam-side down on a plate or in a pan.

Optional Grilling: For a crispier wrap, you can grill it on a panini press or in a skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Garnish & Serve: Serve warm, garnished with chopped cilantro, and enjoy your delicious BBQ Pulled Chicken Wraps!
