2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

3 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup uncooked rice (preferably long grain or jasmine)

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1 cup cream of chicken soup

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the pan: In a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften. Remove from pan and set aside.

      Combine ingredients: In the same skillet, add the uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well to combine.

        Add chicken and broccoli: Return the sautéed broccoli to the skillet and stir in the cooked chicken. Mix everything until it is evenly distributed in the rice mixture.

          Add cheese: Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the pan, mixing until it's well incorporated into the mixture.

            Bake the dish: Spread the mixture evenly in the skillet. Top with additional cheese as desired and cover loosely with aluminum foil.

              Cook in the oven: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through and has absorbed most of the liquid.
