Ingredients

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade)

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

12 mini slider buns (or small tortilla bowls)

1 cup fresh salsa

1 cup guacamole

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Sliced jalapeños (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Filling:

    - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef or turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes.

      - Drain any excess fat if necessary. Stir in the taco seasoning, cooked rice, black beans, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.

        Assemble the Sliders:

          - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

            - Slice the mini slider buns in half and place the bottoms in a baking dish. If using tortilla bowls, arrange them in a muffin tin.

              - Spoon a generous amount of the taco filling into each bun or bowl, pressing down slightly to pack it in.

                Add Cheese and Bake:

                  - Top each filled slider with a sprinkle of shredded cheese.

                    - Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                      Finishing Touches:

                        - Remove from the oven and garnish with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and chopped cilantro. If desired, add sliced jalapeños for an extra kick.

                          Serve:

                            - Serve warm as a fun party appetizer or a main dish. Enjoy your delicious Mini Taco Bowl Sliders!
