1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings: bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc.)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Pita Bases: Place the mini pita breads on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Add Sauce: Spread a tablespoon of marinara sauce evenly on each pita.

Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.

Add Toppings: Layer your preferred toppings on each pita. If using pepperoni, place them evenly.

Season: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder evenly over all the stacks.

Brush with Olive Oil: Lightly brush the edges of the pita with olive oil to enhance crispiness.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the pitas are lightly golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, slice into quarters, and serve warm.
