Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

⅓ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.

Marinate the Shrimp: Place the cleaned shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Skewer the Shrimp: Remove the shrimp from the marinade (reserve the marinade for basting). Thread the shrimp onto skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.

Grill the Shrimp: Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. While grilling, baste with the reserved marinade for added flavor.

Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill and arrange the shrimp on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy! Pair with a fresh salad or grilled vegetables for a delightful meal.
