Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup sour cream

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz egg noodles

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are browned. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Brown the turkey: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Create the sauce: Reduce the heat to medium, then stir in the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add the sour cream: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the sour cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Combine and serve: Toss the cooked egg noodles into the skillet with the turkey and mushroom sauce, mixing until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.

Plate and garnish: Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
