Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

2 cups vanilla or plain Greek yogurt

1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)

½ cup chocolate sauce

½ cup chopped walnuts or almonds (optional)

Whipped cream, for topping

Maraschino cherries, for garnish

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup granola (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Base:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well mixed.

      Slice the Bananas:

        - Cut the bananas in half lengthwise, then slice them into smaller pieces.

          Layer the Ingredients:

            - In small cups or bowls, start by adding a layer of yogurt at the bottom. Use about 2 tablespoons for each cup.

              - Next, place a layer of banana slices over the yogurt.

                Add Fruit:

                  - Add a layer of sliced strawberries and pineapple chunks on top of the bananas.

                    Add More Yogurt:

                      - Add another layer of yogurt, about 2 tablespoons, to cover the fruit layer.

                        Top It Off:

                          - Drizzle the chocolate sauce generously over the yogurt.

                            - Sprinkle chopped walnuts or almonds for crunch, if using.

                              - Add a dollop of whipped cream on top.

                                Garnish and Freeze:

                                  - Finish with a maraschino cherry on top and a sprinkle of granola, if desired.

                                    - Place the cups in the freezer for about 2-3 hours until they firm up slightly.

                                      Serve:

                                        - Remove the Frozen Yogurt Banana Split Cups from the freezer about 5-10 minutes before serving. This will make it easier to scoop.

                                          - Enjoy as a refreshing dessert on a warm day!
