Ingredients

4 cups watermelon, cubed and frozen

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 cup cold water

1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for extra slushiness)

Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Watermelon: Start by cutting fresh watermelon into cubes. Spread them out on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely frozen.

Juicing the Lemons: While the watermelon is freezing, juice the lemons to yield about half a cup of lemon juice. Strain it through a sieve to remove the seeds and pulp for a smoother texture.

Blend the Ingredients: In a powerful blender, add the frozen watermelon cubes, lemon juice, honey (or agave syrup), and cold water. If you prefer a thicker, slushier texture, add the optional ice cubes.

Blend to Perfection: Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are combined and the mixture is smooth and slushy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender once or twice to ensure all the watermelon is evenly blended.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the slushie. If you'd like it sweeter, add a bit more honey or agave syrup and blend again.

Serve: Pour the slushies into chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch.

Enjoy Immediately: Serve your Frozen Watermelon Lemonade Slushies right away for the best texture and flavor!
