Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 ounces of brie cheese

1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Salt and pepper to taste

Honey, for drizzling (optional)

Fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate it into triangles along the perforated edges.

Slice the Brie: Cut the brie cheese into small pieces that will fit comfortably on each triangle, about 1-2 ounces per piece.

Assemble Bites: On the wide end of each crescent triangle, place a piece of brie cheese, followed by a spoonful of cranberry sauce. If using, sprinkle a bit of fresh rosemary on top for an herby kick.

Roll It Up: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the crescent up towards the pointed end, making sure the filling is enclosed. Pinch the edges to seal well.

Egg Wash: Place the assembled bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

Season: Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper over the top of each bite.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffed.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, let the bites cool for a minute on the baking sheet. Drizzle with honey if desired, and garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs for an elegant touch.

Enjoy: Serve warm as an appetizer or snack at parties and gatherings.
