¼ cup diced sun-dried tomatoes (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Pizza Dough:

    - In a large bowl, mix the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.

      - Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until combined.

        - Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

          - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

            Make the Alfredo Sauce:

              - In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

                - Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

                  - Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously.

                    - Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

                      - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.

                        Preheat the Oven:

                          - Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.

                            Assemble the Pizza:

                              - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness (about 12 inches for a standard pizza).

                                - Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper for easier handling.

                                  - Spread a generous layer of the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough.

                                    - Top the sauce with sliced or shredded chicken, followed by mozzarella cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes if using.

                                      Bake the Pizza:

                                        - Carefully transfer the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.

                                          - Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

                                            Garnish and Serve:

                                              - Once the pizza is out of the oven, sprinkle extra Parmesan and fresh basil leaves on top.

                                                - Let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.

                                                  - Serve hot and enjoy your Classic Chicken Alfredo Pizza!
